I'm quite sure the flash-forwards are here to stay and I'm not really opposed to that ... I even like it ... but to sacrifice any real development on the island seems odd to me. I get this very odd feeling from this type of development that I'm going to be disappointed at the end of the season/show in exactly the same way that the Heroes finale from season 1 sucked so bad. Or at least I thought it did. I guess I agree and disagree. Season 4 is all about slowly revealing the Oceanic 6. It's going to be a painful, drawn out process with nothing worthwhile actually happening on the island. Except for moving from the beach to some hatch, then to some nondescript location in the forest, then back to some other hatch. And probably some guns. The Oceanic 6: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Claire (and Aaron, doesn't that count as a person?) and Juliette. Of course these are just my predictions and nobody will probably pay much attention to this either.
