Personal, Science — acosta @ 9:12 am

Short and sweet: My first paper and my first first-author publication entitled “Simulation of Atmospheric Transport and Droplet-Thin Film Collisions in Desorption Electrospray Ionization” has been published in the journal Chemical Communcations, a journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge, UK. You can find the link to it here.

  2. Very impressive, Anthony. Congratulations, cheers and all that.

That afisher character is not holding down his part of the website–not a single travelogue about Newport or Providence or a review of their independent music scene or Waterfire festival.

  4. Yeah yeah yeah… now that I got my MCAT done (32T putting me around the 88th percentile) I will have more time for “blogging” and whenever Shawna lets me have time off I will probably write something.

I would also like to point out that despite all of my science education the “T” which is my writing score is 99.7-99.9 percentile. The highest score. Physical science however… was a mere 65-70 percentile.

  6. worst part about writing this paper was: writing it perfectly in latex, then having to put it into their stupid word template. this makes no sense since they go ahead and reformat the whole thing anyway before they send you proofs. ugh. and there are other RSC journals (PCCP, etc) which accept latex. seriously, lame.
