ASTROPS AND BARROPH [PODCAST]

Music, Podcast — afischer @ 4:59 pm

This week we are coming at you in QUADCASTING (feel the futureā„¢). The Right Reverend Fischer, The Deacon Costa, West Coast Informant Shawna Hollen, and Sister Katie have all gotten together in West Lafayette to be a living example of Christ’s indie love for you the listener. We drop a lot of good music, some classics, and general Web 2.0 goodness. I am trying to find a way to work more AJAX and maybe some meta-tagging into the religious realm in indie podcasting. We also have some great news for physically active women from the Deacon Costa, in the form of some great new products. Also make sure to check out the Hollencomium Music Review along with his podcast, which inspired some of today’s choices. So make sure to check those out and until Monday (we’ll see about that):

1) Portugal. The Man – How The Leopard Got Its Spots – Waiter: ”You Vultures!”
2) Cee-Lo – Crazy – Gnarls Barkley (single)
3) The Cure – Close to Me – Greatest Hits
4) Pinback – Fortress – Summer in Abaddon
5) Man Man – Ice Dogs – Six Demon Bag
6) The Weather Machines – Alone in Shiki – The Sound of Pseudoscience
7) Costa and the Costones – Reverb – Signal/Noise

As always you can reach the Rev. @ rtrev -at- vdov -dot- net

  1. The Rt. Rev. Fischer is really the coolest guy ever. I find myself strangely attracted to him.
